I’m just an ordinary girl living in Lewes, England. I’ve just finished a degree in Special Education, I graduated with flying colours and I’m proud!! I’m newly married to a handsome chappy called Matt who is simply wonderful, Godly and passionate about people knowing the ultimate depths of grace shown to us by a good God. We’re just enjoying this season of life that we’ve entered into, settling into married life and all the crazy and fun that comes with it. We’re settled in an amazing church (Kings Lewes) and I’m now running the 3-5 year old kids work which is the most fun.
Now I’ve graduated I’m working for St John Ambulance – a first aid charity, it’s an intermediate job to pay the bills while I figure out where in the world God is calling me and what I should be doing with my life! I’m hoping to go back into Special Needs but it’s figuring out where and what that looks like.
I am a serious coffee lover (thanks to dear Matt for introducing me!), flat whites are my ultimate fav and I love cake, both eating it and baking it, only if it’s gluten free though. I’m still English though and so I love a good ol’ cuppa too, or throw a hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream my way on a winters night and I’ll be one happy lady.
I’ve spent nearly 3 years living in the beautiful but busy city of London, and can safely say I’m a country gal through and through. God drew Matt and I to Lewes (that’s sort of between Brighton and Eastbourne on the south coast, amid the super gorgeous South Downs) in April 2015, and it suits me just right. Built around a castle, quirky, vintage, and surrounded by fields and muddy lanes it’s the perfect town for me. – Matt loves it too! I’m so excited to see what God has in store for us here, and how He will grow me.
That’ll do for now, you’ll get to see a bit more of me through my posts – enjoy.
